It is with great regret that Sonya Yoncheva is forced to withdraw from the first four performances of La Traviata. She is suffering from postpartum-induced anaemia and has been ordered by her doctors to observe a period of complete rest and rehabilitation. Ms Yoncheva is very sorry to miss these performances and to disappoint the London audiences but is looking forward to returning to the ROH later in the run.see more

Sonya is going to appear in four performances of La Traviata at Metropolitan Opera House next january.
She is scheduled to sing the 14, 17, 21 and 24 January 2015.
Sonya is in a maternity leave till december 2014. All her shows till that period are cancelled.

Soprano Sonya Yoncheva has signed to Sony Classical, in what is described as an ‘exclusive long-term agreement’. The announcement follows other recent signings by the label, including of tenor Jonas Kaufmann and organist Cameron Carpenter in June.see more
