“Opera in Love” from Verona on ARTE
ARTE will show the gala Opera in Love, recorded at the Arena di Verona 2020 first online on Arte Concert starting February 7 at 5:00am CET and later, on Valentine’s Day at 5:40pm CET on television.
The event from the city of Love Verona features music by Puccini, Verdi and Gounod as well as re-enacted scenes from Romeo and Juliet.
Besides Sonya the other performers include Vittorio Grigolo, Mihaela Marcu and Davide Luciano. Plácido Domingo conducts the Orchestra of the Arena di Verona. For more information please click HERE.
