Sonya Yoncheva to make Wagnerian debut in 2020/21
The Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin has announced its new season for 2020/21, including a new production of Lohengrin in which Sonya Yoncheva will make her role debut as Elsa von Brabant. This will be Sonya’s very first Wagner part, which she will sing in a new staging by Calixto Bieito and under the baton of Matthias Pintscher, with performances taking place in December and January 2020/2021.
