“Ad una Stella” at the Berliner Philharmonie
On April 20 at 8pm, Sonya Yoncheva and Malcolm Martineau will present Ad una Stella at the Berliner Philharmonie. The recital programme includes music by Henri Duparc, Pauline Viardot, Ernest Chausson, Léo Delibes, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Martucci, Paolo Tosti and Giuseppe Verdi.
This season, Sonya and Malcolm have performed Ad una Stella in acclaimed shows at the Metropolitan Opera, the Salle Gaveau of Paris, the Enescu Festival in Bucharest and in Beaver Creek.
Sonya returns to the Berliner Philharmonie after her recent star turns as Desdemona in Otello with the Berliner Philharmoniker in 2019 and an aria concert in 2018.
