“Poème de l’amour et de la mer” in Liverpool
On November 30, Sonya Yoncheva sings Ernest Chausson’s dramatic song cycle Poème de l’amour et de la mer with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic led by Domingo Hindoyan. The concert takes place at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and also features Richard Wagner’s Prelude and an orchestral version of the Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde as well as Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.

Sonya Yoncheva returns to Liverpool following her debut with the RLP last year singing Martucci’s La canzone dei ricordi. Next year, on May 25, Sonya will be back for “A Celebration of Puccini” alongside tenor Riccardo Massi and again led by the orchestra’s chief conductor Domingo Hindoyan.
