“Ad una Stella” in Bordeaux and Berlin
After debuting in Buenos Aires at the Teatro Colón and in Montevideo at the Auditorio Nacional del Sodre with Ad una Stella last month, Sonya Yoncheva now brings her lauded recital program back to Europe.
On November 7, Sonya appears at the Opéra de Bordeaux, while on November 27, she will perform at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin.
On both occasions, Malcolm Martineau will play the piano. On the program are Italian art songs by Puccini, Martucci, Tosti and Verdi and Puccini arias: “Se come voi piccina” (Le villi), “Vissi d’arte” (Tosca), “Donde lieta uscì” (La Bohème) and “Un bel dì vedremo” (Madama Butterfly).
