DESDEMONA IN “OTELLO” AT THE FESTSPIELHAUS BADEN-BADEN
In April 2019 Sonya Yoncheva will bring her “exquisite, uncommonly passionate Desdemona” (The New York Times) to the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. The new production by Robert Wilson will open on April 13 on occasion of the Easter Festival 2019. Zubin Mehta will conduct the Berlin Philharmonics, the Philharmonia Chor Wien and the Kinderchor Baden-Baden. The other roles will be sung by Stuart Skelton, Vladimir Stoyanov, Francesco Demuro, Anna Malavasi, Gregory Bonfatti, Federico Sacchi and Giovanni Furlanetto.
