Gala concert with Jonas Kaufmann & Ludovic Tézier in Verona
Sonya Yoncheva will appear in a one-off gala concert with Jonas Kaufmann and Ludovic Tézier at the Arena di Verona.
The concert on August 20 will be conducted by Jochen Rieder, and will feature orchestral music, arias and duets from Andrea Chénier, Tosca, Otello, Carmen, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Giuditta, Das Land des Lächelns and West Side Story as well as film music and Italian canzoni.
ZDF will record it for a telecast on September 3 at 22:15h Central European Time. The event will also be shown on the big screen in October in various countries.
