Metropolitan Opera to stream “Tosca” starring Sonya Yoncheva
From April 21 at 7:30 p.m. EDT to April 22 at 6:30 p.m. EDT, the Metropolitan Opera will stream the 2017/18 season production of Tosca in which Sonya Yoncheva created a stir making her acclaimed title role debut.
The performance may be watched on the Met’s website metopera.org.
In Europe, the video will be available on April 22 for the whole day. The new production is by Sir David McVicar and Emmanuel Villaume conducts a cast that includes Vittorio Grigolo as Mario Cavaradossi and Željko Lučić as Scarpia.
