Puccini Gala in Hamburg
On December 21, Sonya Yoncheva will star in a gala concert entitled “The Art of Sonya Yoncheva” at the Staatsoper Hamburg.
The evening will be dedicated to music by Giacomo Puccini, with Sonya singing arias and duets from Le Villi, La bohème, Madama Butterfly and Manon Lescaut.
Riccardo Massi will be the evening’s tenor soloist, while Leonardo Sini will conduct the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg.
Sonya Yoncheva returns to Hamburg following acclaimed solo concerts at the Elbphilharmonie and her 2021 house debut at the Staatsoper in the title role of Manon Lescaut.
