Concert at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées

On January 7, Sonya Yoncheva appears at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées for a concert with the Sofia Philharmonic under the baton of Nayden Todorov.

The programme brings together operatic highlights and orchestral interludes, ranging from Puccini’s early Le Villi and later masterpieces such as La Bohème and Manon Lescaut, to Massenet’s Hérodiade and Manon, alongside Dvořák’s “Song to the Moon” from Rusalka and celebrated pages from Bizet’s Carmen. Bulgarian repertoire also features prominently, with works by Petko Staynov and Parashkev Hadjiev, underscoring the artistic identity shared by soloist, conductor and orchestra.

This concert continues Sonya Yoncheva’s close collaboration with Nayden Todorov and the Sofia Philharmonic, with whom she has appeared in numerous concerts over recent seasons.
